| April 14 2002 marks the 90th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. This ground breaking film explores why the Titanic story has taken on such mythical proportions over time and just why and how different generations have re-invented the story to fit their own historical needs. This documentary uses newly discovered archive film, feature film, and wartime propaganda to reveal how each generation, in remaking the story to serve its own needs, has created one of the greatest legends of the 20th Century. |
