This is a story of a doomed relationship between a Queen and her lover; a story of love and greed - murder, rape and treacherous political intrigue. In 1567 Lord Darnley, the husband of Mary Queen of Scots, was murdered. Historians have since debated whether Mary was involved. Recently, new and intriguing light has been thrown on this mystery. At the heart of the mystery lie some love letters written by Mary to her lover, James Hepburn the Earl of Bothwell.
