《观天下》节目介绍
　　《观天下》栏目是一档人文历史类的译制片栏目，片源来自精选的BBC纪录片，内容涵盖历史、人文、军事、科技医学、艺术和社会时政，包罗世界万象。

　　《观天下》节目特点是制作精美、思想性和知识性强。节目致力于“揭秘”和还原真相，在探索历史事件时，力求呈现第一手资料，在探寻线索时也不遗余力，因此探索过程本身就引人入胜。节目往往采用CGI技术和情景再现的方法解读历史事件，画面或宏大雄壮或神奇变幻，情节设计精巧，极具观赏性。

　　从遨游太空到漫步月球，人类征服宇宙的脚步从未停歇。40多年来，世界上共发生8次重大航天事故，22名宇航员和150多名地面人员牺牲。人类迈向外太空的每一步，都离不开那些为征服寒冷、黑暗的未知世界而牺牲的先驱。

　　冷战铁幕后的美苏两国的太空竞赛进展得如火如荼。人类迈向太空的步伐越走越远。然而人类征服太空的过程并非一帆风顺。频频有宇航员在执行任务时因事故身亡。航空科技过快发展导致的技术细节不完善，在政治因素的催化下，使得宇航员们以生命为代价换来技术成就和国家荣誉。即便是在科学高度发达的今天，航空科技经历了40多年的发展之后，人类并未真正征服广袤的太空。那里对人类来讲，仍然是个存在着太多风险与未知的领域。

  
  
 

　　If we die, we want people to accept it... The conquest of space is worth the risk of life." The words of Apollo 1 astronaut, Gus Grissom - who, along with two colleagues, was killed in 1967 when their craft caught fire during testing and they were unable to open their exit hatch. Accidents In Space looks at what happens when things go wrong 62 miles above the earth, where astronauts are completely dependent on the technology and environment they have brought with them - whether in the capsule or in the space suit. In space, it"s a vacuum - and minus 200 degrees Celcius. The boiling point of liquids is reduced - so if abandoned in space without a suit an astronaut"s blood would boil instantly. Every vein and artery in their body would burst and they would be shredded from the inside out. This programme looks at how international space programmes have fought for decades to safeguard the fragile lives of their pioneering cosmonauts.
